Private infrastructure, professionally run.

Self-hosted servers, private services and secure networks for businesses and households that want their data, tools and access under their own control.

What I build and run.

The same architecture I operate myself: dedicated servers, a broad suite of self-hosted services, segmented and firewalled networks and encrypted remote access, with monitoring, redundancy and backups built in. Every system is documented and tested before handover, and ongoing management is available when you want it.

Private cloud and file services

Files, photos, notes and passwords on hardware you own, synchronized across every device.

  • Private photo and video libraries with self-hosted search
  • File storage and synchronization across computers and phones
  • Self-hosted credential management for the business or the family
  • Private notes and document tools, including text recognition for scanned files

Network architecture and security

Networks designed in segments, so each class of device reaches only what it should.

  • Separate networks for work, family, guests, smart-home devices and internet-facing servers
  • Zone-based firewall policies that block traffic between segments by default
  • Network-wide filtering of ads, trackers and known malicious domains
  • Redundant internet connections, traffic prioritization and privacy-routed segments
  • Wi-Fi planned and tuned for full coverage

Secure remote access

Encrypted access to home and office systems from anywhere, with only the services you choose made public.

  • Encrypted private networking across every device you own
  • Selected services published through protected tunnels and secure gateways
  • Privacy-routed services where anonymity matters
  • Travel setups that keep connections private on public networks

Private AI and automation

AI infrastructure on your own hardware, so research, documents and data never leave your control, kept current as models and tooling advance.

  • Self-hosted models, interfaces and agent harnesses on dedicated hardware
  • Private search and AI research engines
  • Automated agents that monitor, summarize and report on a schedule
  • Workflow automation that connects the services you rely on
  • Hardware acceleration for on-device AI and media processing

Media and home systems

Private media and home automation, organized and dependable.

  • Personal media servers for the household
  • Home automation brought together on one private platform
  • Video and media archives you control
  • Streaming devices and displays configured to work together

Management, monitoring and backups

Infrastructure that is maintained, observed and recoverable.

  • Central management of services across one server or many
  • Live monitoring and logs for every service
  • Redundant storage with parity protection, mirrored drives and automatic snapshots
  • Versioned backups with tested restores, and scheduled integrity checks
  • Planned updates, with each change checked before and after

How an engagement runs

Each system is planned around what it must protect and support, built to a documented standard and verified before handover.

  1. Assessment and design

A review of your hardware, network, data and access needs, followed by an architecture designed for security, resilience and growth.

  2. Build and deployment

Servers, services and network segments are deployed and configured to a documented standard, with existing data migrated carefully.

  3. Hardening and handover

Access controls, backups, restores and monitoring are verified before handover, with a written record of how everything fits together.

  4. Managed operation

Optional ongoing management: updates, monitoring and capacity planning handled remotely, with every change checked before and after.

Start with a conversation

You do not need a finished brief. A few details will help me understand what you have in mind.

  • What you want to run, store or protect
  • Your current hardware, network and internet service
  • Who needs access, and from where

Before you get in touch

Can you work with my existing hardware?

Yes. I start with what you have, reuse what is sound and recommend changes only where they make a clear difference.

Do I need to know which software I want?

No. Describe what you want to achieve. Selecting and configuring the right services is part of the work.

Can you manage servers I already run?

Yes. Existing servers and services can be brought under remote management, with access, scope and responsibilities agreed first.

Will my systems be reachable from outside?

Only what needs to be. Remote access runs over encrypted connections, and nothing is exposed to the internet without a reason.

Tell me what you want to run, store or protect.

Send a brief outline of what you need and what you already have, and I will suggest the right next step.
